On the 3rd Saturday of every month Builders of the Faith hosts a food drive to provide food to families in need. Maranatha helps with this food drive and we need your help. The food is delivered to BOTF around 8:30 AM. They re-pack it, and then place it into car trunks as the cars drive through.
They need volunteers to show up at 9 AM and help handle the food packages then clean up. Usually finish around 10:30 AM.
This is a simple way to help our community and partner with a church that we love. Please sign up to be a part of the team that will help do this. (By signing up, you are not saying that you will come every month, but you are willing to come when you are available.) Each month we will send out some emails to this group to coordinate for that month.

He’s the Unchanging Person. Yesterday. Today. Forever. The same Jesus who formed the earth and all its life with His words...the same Jesus who walked the earth and ate food with sinners and healed broken people...the same Jesus who never once sinned, but was executed as the worst of all sinners and died for yours...the same Jesus who conquered death and the grave so you can live forever in an unbroken body...the same Jesus that sits at the right hand of the Father praying for you...the same Jesus who will return one day to rule and reign over all things and everyone as King of Kings and Lord of Lords...it’s all about Him.
He loves you with an undying love and he wants nothing more than to be your Lord and Savior. And He hasn’t changed. He is still all of the above and so much more.
So at Maranatha, its all about Jesus. Without apology, he is the most important fact you will ever learn about our church. He is our absolute absolute.
Maranatha Church of Jacksonville is located in the Southwest part of Jacksonville. We started in 2004 as Oakleaf Christian Fellowship, but after not building in Oakleaf we decided to change our name. Since day one, we have attempted to be a family of followers of Jesus Christ who seek to reach out to our community.
We are a non-denominational church with a modern style of music in our worship services. Dress is usually more casual, and all are invited.

A church is a connected group of people...not a building, and not only a worship service on Sunday morning. That is why at Maranatha we strive to talk as much about ways to connect throughout the week as our Sunday morning worship service.
Don’t get us wrong, we believe there is great importance in gathering every Sunday morning to worship God together. However, most of our life is lived Monday through Saturday... outside the four walls of the church building. So, our aim is to follow God all of the time, and not just on Sunday mornings. One more thing, Jesus really wants a relationship with you. He loves you and He will pursue you to the ends of the earth. But, He won’t force himself on you. And neither will we. So, you are free to come and check out our church without fear that we will stalk you for the rest of your life. Just know that we will always be promoting a brand of Christianity that involves being connected to others in ways that go beyond our simple Sunday morning gathering.
We are part of a greater community of churches and missionaries called the Malachi Network. This is a group of like minded people seeking to make the name of the Lord “great among the nations.” Malachi 1:11
